Galfar Engg. & Contracting SAOG in Muscat, Oman, invites applications for a Senior Scheduler. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 8–12 years of relevant experience, focusing on baseline schedule preparation, updates, and ERP resource planning.

The position is based in Muscat and involves coordinating with clients and consultants. Responsibilities include preparing baseline and revised schedules, generating routine progress and status reports, claims

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering with 8–12 years in relevant field.
• Strong scheduling and project controls knowledge for infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Office suite.

Mansioni

• Prepare and update Project baseline schedule in P‑6, and revision with all supporting documents for submission to Client/Consultant.
• Review schedule revisions/updates with the consultant/client for approvals.
• Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly reports for consultant/client/Management related to project stats updates.
• Prepare, maintain and update documents required to submit Time Extension claims to contracts department.
• Prepare, maintain and update the resource database and rolling projections for manpower and equipment monthly for ERP submission.
• Compile Daily progress reports and submit to project manager and unit head.
• Prepare and update project documents required by MSP for audits from QHSE and attend auditors when scheduled.

Job Description

• Prepare and update Project base line schedule in P-6, and its revision when required with all supporting documents for submission to Client / Consultant.
• Review the schedule revisions/updates with the consultant/ client for approvals.
• Preparation of daily/ weekly/ monthly reports for consultant/ client/ Management related to the project stats updates.
• Prepares the supporting documents (impact schedule or any such document required by contracts) required to submit Time Extension Claim to be submitted to contracts Department.
• Prepare maintain and update the data base of the resources with the project. Prepare the Rolling projections for resources manpower and equipment on monthly basis to be submitted through the ERP .
• Compile the Daily progress report of project and submit it to project manager, Unit head.
• Prepare, maintain and update the project documents required by MSP for the audit from corporate QHSE and attend the auditor as and when audit is scheduled.
