Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electrical / Utilities Inspector to support installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems across office and field locations. The role requires a Diploma or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Saudi national preferred; travel to field locations will be required. You will read electrical drawings, coordinate with senior staff and maintain thorough inspection

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair activities under the supervision of senior technicians and professional staff.
• Assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, panels, generators, motors, pumps, lighting systems, and related components.
• Conduct basic inspections and testing of electrical equipment to identify faults, defects, and unsafe conditions.
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical circuits, control systems, wiring, power distribution systems, and equipment.
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Support the testing, calibration, repair, and modification of electrical control and instrumentation systems.
• Use electrical testing tools and equipment in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, inspection reports, maintenance logs, test results, and documentation of completed activities.
• Assist in preparing field and office reports related to electrical work, inspections, findings, and equipment status.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures, electrical codes, permit requirements, and project-specific requirements.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities at project and field locations.
• Coordinate with higher-level technicians, engineers, and other project team members to complete assigned work.
• Perform routine and occasionally physical tasks in office, industrial, construction, and field environments.
• Travel to and work at field locations as required.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate
