Job summary

Hilton in Oman is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily building operations, systems maintenance and repairs, ensuring guest comfort and safety across our property.

You will lead the maintenance team, schedule tasks, monitor compliance with local regulations, coordinate contractors, and respond to guest service requests with speed and courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the maintenance team, training and scheduling staff.
• Ensure facility safety and compliance with local regulations for systems and life safety.
• Oversee maintenance operations and document work in the system.
• Supervise external contractors and inspect completed work for quality and compliance.
• Respond to service requests from guests and staff promptly and professionally.
• Maintain fixtures and fittings through planned preventive maintenance and ad hoc tasks.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’re not just overseeing daily operations of the physical building and systems maintenance and repairs – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise maintenance team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and performance
• Ensure facility safety and compliance: Support maintenance of the physical building, mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations
• Supervise maintenance operations: Assign and oversee daily maintenance tasks, ensuring through documentation of work in the property management system
• Oversee contractor work: Supervise external contractors and inspect completed work for quality and compliance
• Respond to service requests: Ensure that maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergency situations are addressed promptly and efficiently
• Maintain fixtures and fittings: Conduct scheduled and ad hoc maintenance, including planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and service requests, to ensure hotel fixtures and fittings remain in safe condition
