Title

Electrical Engineer (ETAP Specialist)

Duties and Responsibilities

• ETAP Power system studies for feasibility Study, FEED and Detail engineering projects.
• Hands on experience and perform Power system studies such as Load Flow, Short circuit, Arc Flash, Motor starting, Ground grid, Protective relay coordination, Power factor correction, Harmonic analysis.
• Review of Electrical engineering design deliverables such as Load List, SLD, Cable sizing, Equipment sizing, Cable and conduit schedule, etc.
• Prepare ETAP Power system studies reports.
• Interpretation and implementation of IEEE/ANSI & IEC standards.
• Coordination with Electrical project team for project deliverables.
• Estimation of System studies MH’s for tendering purpose.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelors of Engineering/Science in Electrical and Electronics engineering.
• 5 years or above of experience in Electrical Power system studies Saudi Engineer with proven experience in the system studies using ETAP software for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Projects (Experience in Engineering Consultancy).

Key Skills & Technical Competencies

• Must be a reliable Engineer who can work independently.
• Must be proficient in reviewing design calculations/drawings.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and Sabic Standards is an advantage.
• Must have excellent knowledge & understanding of Design practices, Construction Practices and Procedures.
• Must be proficient in English; oral and written communication.
