Job summary

PeopleStrong in Oman is seeking an experienced E/I/T inspection professional to ensure offshore fabrication yard activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable international codes, and client requirements.

You will lead Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom inspections, verifying installations such as LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS, field instruments, control valves, fiber optic and copper cables, CCTV, PA systems, access control and data networks, and

Qualifications

• Inspect installation of Electrical systems (LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS, battery chargers) in offshore yards.
• Inspect Instrumentation installations (field instruments, control valves, actuators, solenoids) per project specs.
• Inspect Telecom installations (fiber optic and copper cables, PA/GA systems, CCTV, access control, data systems) per drawings and codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of electrical systems including LV/MV switchgear and MCCs.
• Verify instrumentation installations such as field transmitters and control valves.
• Assess telecom installations like CCTV, PA systems, access control and data networks.

Job description

To ensure that all Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (E/I/T) installation, testing, and commissioning activities at the offshore fabrication yard comply with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable international codes, and client requirements.

Electrical Inspection

• Inspect installation of:
  • LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS, battery chargers
  • Power and control cables, cable trays, conduits, glands, terminations

Instrumentation Inspection

• Inspect installation of:
  • Field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level transmitters)
  • Control valves, actuators, solenoids
  • Junction boxes, impulse tubing, instrument air lines

Telecom Inspection

• Inspect installation of:
  • Fiber optic and copper communication cables
  • PA/GA systems, PAGA speakers & amplifiers
  • CCTV, Access Control, Telephone & Data systems
