Job summary

Mace seeks a Director of Systems & Rolling Stock to provide technical vision and engineering leadership for a world-class, driverless rail system (GoA4) in a developer-led environment.

You will own system integrity from concept through procurement to integration, manage international consultants, and ensure governance compliance while aligning with the broader master plan and real estate interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Master’s degree or chartered status is advantageous.
• Professional registration (e.g., CEng) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for GoA4 railway subsystems (CBTC, rolling stock, power, telecoms).
• Lead interface integration with master-planned developer sectors and ensure alignment.
• Manage international engineering consultants, PMOs, and shadow operators.
• Establish governance milestones, RAMS, and configuration control processes.
• Oversee safety assurance and compliance with international standards and local regs.
• Coordinate with real estate teams to align rail systems with development plans.
