Aramco is seeking a senior Process Engineer to join the Fuels Strategy and Capital Planning Department. The role focuses on evaluating capital investment proposals, reviewing business plans, and aligning with downstream strategy.

You will analyze technical, operational, and economic aspects of major energy projects and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in refinery and fuels systems and excellent analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required).
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in process engineering or downstream operations.

Responsibilities

• Review capital project proposals for accuracy and strategic fit.
• Analyze process engineering assumptions for feasibility and economics.
• Evaluate downstream plans and investment submissions.
• Assess market conditions and long-term fuels strategy impacts.
• Provide engineering insights to support investment decisions.
• Review feasibility studies and capital planning documents.
• Ensure optimization of process inputs in strategic planning.
• Support value creation and project justification assessments.
• Perform technical and economic analysis of refinery and fuels systems.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses and investment screening when required.
