Job summary

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a Data Center Design Governance Lead to own the design-review and quality-gate process for mission-critical facilities in Syria. You will ensure designs meet requirements, target Uptime Institute tier, and applicable standards before EPC.

You will act as design authority with focus on power, cooling, security, and resilience through design assurance. The role requires extensive experience in data center design review, ATD certification, and familiarity with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; master's preferred.
Minimum 10–12 years in data center or mission-critical facility design, incl. 4–5 years in design review/owner's-engineer.

Responsibilities

Manage the design-review and quality-gate process for High-Level Designs (HLD) through procurement.
Verify traceability to requirements and reject deviations from agreed scope.
Review critical power, cooling concepts, and PUE; ensure site tier targets are met (Tier III/IV).
Chair design-change and deviation board; track NCRs to closure.
Provide design-assurance input to specifications and RFP packages; support bid evaluation.
