Job summary

Gender seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance for shipyard cranes, motors, and heavy equipment. Responsibilities include preventive and breakdown maintenance, PLC diagnostics, and coordinating third-party inspections and load tests.

The role requires strong planning, leadership, and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards, with a focus on safety and quality in a heavy industry setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in jib cranes, switchgears, generators, CNC machines and PLCs.
• ISO 9001:2015 standards exposure; ability to interpret electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance for cranes and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose PLC and drive issues; program PLCs as required.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and load tests for cranes and equipment.
• Prepare PORs, manage spare parts stock and inventory; support budget control.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain logs; ensure safety and environmental compliance.
