Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of major oil and gas fabrication projects in Qatar. You will ensure constructability aligns with drawings, standards, and processes while managing interfaces and resolutions with contractor teams.

With 10+ years in oil & gas construction and 2+ years in supervision, you will lead safety, quality, schedule, and contractual compliance, review deliverables, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
• 10+ years' Oil & Gas construction/fabrication experience, including 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, fabrication, welding, lifting, testing, and completions.
• Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, service, or heavy construction companies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and contractual compliance.
• Supervise Contractor/Subcontractor fabrication and MC activities.
• Review engineering deliverables for constructability and technical compliance.
• Manage construction standards deviations and documentation.
• Monitor progress, quality, risks, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate MC, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Lead risk assessments and pre-job meetings.
• Implement and capture lessons learned.
