Job summary

Penspen Ltd is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer's assistant to support the Senior Civil/Structural Engineer in reviewing EPC contractor deliverables, including structural drawings, calculations and specifications, and to ensure conformance with project standards.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Four years in structures for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical Onshore projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Review EPC contractor deliverables: structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Verify compliance with project standards, codes, and procedures.
• Support assessment of design changes and technical queries.
• Coordinate interfaces between disciplines.
• Participate in site visits to verify construction alignment.

Job Description:

Assist the Senior Civil/Structural Engineer in reviewing EPC contractor deliverables including structural drawings, calculations, and specifications. Verify the application of project standards, codes, and procedures. Support the assessment of design changes, technical queries, and interface coordination between disciplines. Participate in site visits and reviews to ensure design alignment with actual construction conditions. Track deliverable progress and maintain structural documentation records. Support in reviewing construction work methods and verifying quality compliance during execution.

Required Experience Criteria in years

eight (8) years of experience, Four (4) years of them within the field of Civil/Structural Engineering related to structures for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical Onshore projects.

Minimum Education Qualification Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

The job location will be based on Alkhafji , Saudi Arabia.
