Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Civil/Earthworks Field Engineer for the Ar Rjum Project in the Central Arabian Gold Region, located around 200 km NE of Taif and ~26 km south of Al Mouwayh. The role focuses on construction engineering across concrete, steel, excavation, scaffolding, and finishes, with emphasis on planning, inspections, and turnover to Startup/Commissioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management or equivalent.
Strong English language communication and report writing skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in multi-cultural teams.
Ability to plan, inspect, and document construction activities and tests.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with engineering on constructability and design issues.
Provide field engineering support to site superintendents and teams.
Develop work plans, material take-offs, inspections, and progress reporting.
Perform civil field engineering activities including formwork, rebar, concrete and earthwork tasks.
Ensure documentation and as-built drawings are accurate and complete.
Review specifications, PO’s, subcontracts, delivery schedules, and technical data.
