Job summary

Gender in Oman is seeking an HVAC technician with experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and servicing AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and cooling components.

Candidates should be able to read wiring diagrams and service manuals, follow maintenance schedules, manage refrigerant levels and leaks, and ensure safe, efficient operation of HVAC

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and service manuals.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance per schedules.
• Capability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC and chillers.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC and chiller systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules.
• Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, and cooling towers.
• Check refrigerant levels, identify leaks, and carry out charging/recovery.
