Job summary

Tawteen is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to lead technical operations on land drilling rigs. You will supervise maintenance work, diagnose faults, and coordinate downtime mitigation while ensuring safety and compliance with OEM standards.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years on land rigs, strong CMMS skills, and the ability to read detailed OEM manuals and schematics. This role requires on-site work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Vocational certification in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required.
• At least 8 years on land drilling rigs, preferably AC/VPD/CSCR rigs.
• Strong ability to interpret OEM manuals and technical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance on rig equipment.
• Manage faults and downtime with proactive troubleshooting.
• Operate and start up rig mechanical systems safely.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure OEM policy compliance.

Education amp Experience Vocational Certification in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent with at least 8 years experience on land drilling rigs preferably AC VPD CSCR rigs International rig experience is highly preferred demonstrating adaptability to diverse operational environments and standards

Technical Skills Proficient with CMMS e g myMaintenance OEM manuals and technical schematics Skilled in preventive corrective maintenance fault diagnosis and equipment startup procedures for engines pumps hydraulic units cranes and pipe handling equipment -OEM Canrig experience and certification is preferred
