Job summary

The Chief AGE Mechanic at Amentum supervises AGE technicians, conducts inspections and oversees maintenance, servicing and storage of the AGE fleet. You will ensure hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems are kept in peak condition, including turbine and engine-driven AGE, in line with USAF/Amentum technical data and quality standards.

Based in Thumrait, Oman, you will coordinate daily with the AGE Superintendent to prioritize work, manage shop operations and ensure ISO 9001 QMS

Qualifications

• Supervise AGE shop operations and train technicians.
• Perform inspections, maintenance and servicing of AGE.
• Maintain and inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems including turbine and engines.
• Ensure work complies with PWS and ISO 9001 QMS.

Job description

The Chief AGE Mechanic supervises, trains AGE technicians and performs inspections, maintenance and servicing and storage of assigned AGE. Maintains and inspects hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems to include turbine, diesel and gasoline driven AGE. Responsible for the day-to-day AGE shop operations and communicates with the AGE Superintendent to assure work priorities are met. Accomplishes work in accordance with USAF/Amentum technical data. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
