Job summary

The Sultan s School Oman is seeking an experienced BTEC Business teacher to join in August 2027, primarily delivering Level 3 BTEC Business with some Level 2 provision. A strong track record in vocational assessment and practical delivery is essential, with potential to teach Level 2 IT as an advantage.

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification teaching experience.
• Bachelor's degree closely related to your teaching subject and recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE.

Responsibilities

• Has previous experience teaching BTEC Business ideally at Level 3.
• Has a strong understanding of BTEC assessment delivery and vocational learning.
• Can inspire and engage students through practical relevant Business teaching.
• Can support students to achieve strong outcomes across Level 2 and Level 3.
• Is confident adapting teaching to meet a range of student needs.
• Ability to teach Level 2 IT would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Is collaborative, culturally aware and committed to the wider life of the school.
