Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Bear Base Superintendent in Muscat, Oman to oversee storage, maintenance and asset readiness for BOB and Civil Engineering equipment. You will supervise crews, ensure inspections, manage parts and tools, and coordinate with control and customer requirements to meet the PWS and ISO 9001 standards.

The role requires extensive experience with DoD/US Air Force CE equipment, strong technical data interpretation, and the ability to obtain necessary credentials and host-nation

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and interpret all technical data associated with Civil Engineering and BOB assets and related equipment.
• Proficient in PCs and Windows OS and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Must be able to obtain CSC Certification.
• Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
• Minimum of five years' experience as a supervisor with US Air Force/Commercial CE equipment and engineering workshop facilities.
• US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this location.
• Physically capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.
• Travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and manage storage, receipt, accounting, inspection, maintenance, and deployments of assets.
• Direct preparation of stored assets for exercises or deployments and ensure compliance with PWS and ISO 9001 QMS.
• Coordinate with Work Control, Operations, Production and Supply on shop workloads and production requirements.
• Instruct and train supervisory personnel in maintenance, repair techniques and safety procedures.
• Oversee hazard materials handling and disposal coordination as required.
• Review and process SBSS, LP, OEL and CDRL documents; maintain asset listings and records.
• Evaluate staff performance and address substandard performance; arrange logistics support.
