Job summary

Amentum seeks a Bear Base Superintendent to oversee storage, inspection and maintenance of BEAR BOB and CE assets. You will direct asset reception, accountability, and preparation for deployments, while ensuring compliance with the PWS and the ISO 9001 QMS.

You will train supervisors, supervise shop work, coordinate with Work Control, Operations and Supply, and lead safety, QA, and logistics activities to sustain readiness for exercises and contingencies.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand and interpret technical data for Civil Engineering and BOB assets and related equipment.
• Proficient with Windows OS and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Must obtain CSC Certification.
• Must hold a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation license.
• May operate material handling equipment.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years plus as a supervisor with US Air Force/Commercial CE equipment facilities and related experience.
• Must obtain and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required at this location.
• Physically capable of lifting/pushing/pulling 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Performs CSC inspections on containers and manages stored assets.
• Receives, accounts for stores, inspects and maintains equipment.
• Plans and coordinates with Work Control on shop work assignments.
• Directs maintenance procedures for BOB equipment and training of supervisors.
• Trains supervisory personnel in maintenance techniques and QA.
• Coordinates erection, construction and operation of BOB equipment for exercises.
• Reviews SBSS documents and procures items for department.
• Ensures compliance with PWS and ISO 9001 QMS and safety policies.
• Maintains PPE and safety procedures across shifts.
