Job summary

Oman Refinery in Muscat seeks an experienced Instrument Engineer to provide proactive maintenance strategy and technical guidance to the Instrument team and contractors at SR2 under TL Maintenance Instrument scope.

The role emphasizes maintaining asset reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance, interfacing with SAP-PM, CMMS, and external contractors, and developing talent for Oman talent pipeline while adhering to HSE and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrument Engineering or similar.
• Excellent English (written and spoken); Arabic desirable.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in refinery/instrument maintenance.
• Knowledge of refinery and petrochemical instrument work.
• Familiarity with HSE plans and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop instrument maintenance solutions and preventive/corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and assess proposals.
• Implement plans and coordinate instrument maintenance works.
• Interface with external contractors for planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Support SAP-PM, CMMS, and lifecycle management across assets.
