Alila Hinu Bay is seeking an experienced bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service and create memorable guest experiences. You will showcase classic and modern cocktails, guide guests on drink selections, and maintain a clean, organized bar area in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a minimum of two years in bartending, strong communication, teamwork, and professional presentation to thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

Responsible to host and serve all guests, ensuring they have an exceptional drinking & dining experience; creating lasting memories and building relationships. You will bring our bar concepts to life by using your personal flair and style when interacting with our guests.

General Responsibility

1. 1. Communicate in a friendly, tactful and professional manner with guests, suppliers as well as colleagues.

2. 2. Provide information regarding the hotel’s facilities & services.

3. 3. Be informed and keep your supervisor informed of all matters that may affect your work, the hotel’s service or reputation.

4. 4. Always present a clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the hotel’s grooming standards.

5. 5. Be flexible and open to change in your job responsibilities, work area and /or roster to meet business needs.

6. 6. Be understanding, supportive, encouraging and helpful to guests as well as suppliers and your colleagues.

7. 7. Care about your environment and make sure it is tidy and well maintained.

8. 8. Be reliable and ensure you are at work on time.

9. 9. Know your role in case of emergency such as bomb threat, flood, fire etc.

10. 10. Understand the Employee Handbook and comply with the standards it outlines.

11. 11. Carry out all professionally reasonable instruction given by your supervisor.

12. 12. Report all incidents, accidents and guest complaints in briefings

Technical Expertise

1. Handle cashiering duties in accordance with policies & procedures

2. Providing service to guests in accordance with service standards

3. Prepare the bar for service

4. Check bar stock and prepare orders for replenishing of supplies

5. Know the menu/special promotions and assist guests with recommendations

6. Know all beverage recipes and prepare all drink orders accordingly

7. Control cost by adhering to quantities specified in all beverage recipes

8. Ensure all opening and closing duties are implemented accordance with established standards

9. Assist in service in the other FB outlet when required

10. Ensure the bar areas is maintained clean and tidy

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2- years of experience as a bartender
• Good knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, mocktails, and beverages
• Positive attitude, good communication, and team player
• Must be presentable and professional under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
