Job summary

Nizwa Bakery in Nizwa, Oman is seeking an experienced Baker for a contract role. You will prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries and other baked goods according to our recipes and quality standards.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of baking experience, be able to read recipes, manage time, stay clean, and work on weekends/holidays. Visa sponsorship available; relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Baker.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and methods.
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare doughs, batters and fillings for various baked goods.
• Bake breads, pastries and other baked goods in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Decorate cakes and pastries as per customer requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, utensils and tools.
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed.
• Order necessary ingredients and supplies for baking production.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled with correct dates for freshness.
