Assistant Merchandiser

We are currently hiring an Assistant Merchandiser to join our team in Nizwa. As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the Merchandiser in all aspects of product sourcing, supplier management, and product development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Merchandiser in developing and executing product strategies to meet sales targets
• Source new products and suppliers, conduct market research, and negotiate prices
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
• Ensure accuracy of product information and pricing on company website
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or discontinuation of products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations to develop effective product launch plans
• Assist in managing relationships with existing suppliers, including negotiating terms and resolving any issues that may arise
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising or related role
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary

• The salary for this position is $900 per month.
