Job summary

Siraty in Muscat is seeking a Network Administrator to manage operation and administration of the Bank Enterprise Network platform infrastructure, including DC/DR design, Cisco routers/switches, Fortinet devices, VPN, POS, VOIP, and security appliances. You will ensure security compliance, audits, and 24x7 support across branches and data centers.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and supporting SDWAN & network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of data center networks, security appliances, and VPNs.
• Experience with network monitoring and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform configuration and ongoing L3/L4 support of network hardware/firmware upgrades across network devices.
• Work with Vendors/consultants in L3/L4 designing and maintaining the Banks Data Center in Production and DR network architecture.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for the network topology and share daily monitoring reports.
• Create and maintain a remote monitoring system using SNMP and SolarWinds to maximize network efficiency.
• Implement and maintain network security devices and address audits findings.
• Manage and patch inventory of all the network security equipment used within the bank.

Description

Job Purpose :

To manage the operation and administration of the Bank Enterprise Network platform infrastructure including Data Centre DC & DR design, Implementation & support , Cisco Router, Switches, Fortinet Firewall’s /Switches, POS, VOIP, Corporate Cisco Wi‑Fi, VPN, Trend Micro Tipping point and Video Conf & security appliances, Compliance, Audits.

Key Tasks and Duties:

Network Administrator

• Responsible for any new site ADD/MOVE/DELETE SDWAN Branches/ATM’s/Video Conf/IP Telephone, Corporate Wi‑Fi, VPN, Tipping Point IDS/IPS for the design, implementation and support, Performing configuration and on‑going L3/L4 support of network hardware/firmware upgrade across Network Devices.
• Work with Vendors/consultants in L3/L4 designing and maintaining the Banks Data Center in Production and DR network architecture in consultation with ITG & ISO. Assume responsibility for maintaining the documentation for the same.
• Good Knowledge the Silver Peak WAN optimization so that perform the troubleshooting for the Branches slowness, Application performance and Server SSL certs to be upload.
• Good understanding/Knowledge with collaborative meeting solution so that help the team for arranging the Video Conf.
• Actively support Annual DR Drills and migration activity. Good understanding with POS infrastructure Ex: POS F5 Controller, Handsets etc.
• Work with SDWAN/LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi/VPN/VOIP/POS vendors to identify and solve L3/L4 related problems for the networks at any point of time (24x7x365).
• Maintain (Up to Date) documentation for the network topology in order to quickly access information needed to make purchases and diagnose problems and share daily basis Network Monitoring report.
• Implement and maintain network security devices so that business, data and communications are secure. Address all Network security related audits findings.
• Manage and maintain the Patch management and inventory (Up to Date) of all the network security equipment’s used within the bank and keep update for any ADD/MOVE/DELETE devices.
• Manage and implement appliances pertaining to SDWAN/LAN/WAN/VOIP/Wi‑Fi/VPN/POS/VC/Communication link.
• Create and maintain a remote monitoring system of the network using SNMP and other network management tools Ex: SolarWinds in order to maximize network efficiency.
• Network Connectivity for MacAfee IPS, Websense, Firewalls, Servers etc.
• Supporting the Events support via proving IT infra and their secure access to end users.

IT Security

• Ensure information security framework implementation pertaining to Networks is in line with NBO’s approved security framework and industry best practices.
• Implementation of Cisco DNA Centre & Nexus Dashboard, SASE solution, Cisco Prime, Cisco ISE & NAC, Cisco Corporate Wireless & VPN, Design & Implementation of FortiGate, Forti Switch.
• Designing & Implementing Cisco IPT Solutions, Installing and Maintaining Enterprise IT Infrastructure including Servers and VOIP Equipment's.
• Support technical controls and procedures for the infrastructure within area of responsibility. Quarterly IOS Upgrade across the Network security Devices as per venerability’s report by Nessus or ISO.
• Manage appropriate security controls to ensure proper security posture is maintained for the entire infrastructure. Good understanding with IP access list so that keep the communication secure from source and destination.
• Ensure all the Network infrastructure meets the MSB standards laid down by ISO guidelines and time to time update in line with ISO. Good working knowledge with internal team (ISO, ISD, Infra Team, Application Team etc.)
• Good understanding of ISE as NAC and Prime in trouble shooting and configuration.
• Good knowledge in implementation and support of HP & Cisco Wireless Lan controller and LWAP.
• Good knowledge in design, implementation and support of Cisco, FortiGate, PA, HP Aruba technologies.

Infrastructure Configuration

• Follow Change management process.
• Maintain and update the configuration documentation to ensure configuration accuracy by

Communication Links:

• Manage all communication links with respective ISP/Telco for head office and multiple sites including national and international sites.
• Manage CUCM, Data Centres integration between the sites.
• Manage the integration of Cisco Corporate Wi‑Fi, VPN, POS, ISE as NAC, HP Clear pass, Cisco CUCM, Video Conf, VOIP and IP Telephony, DATA & Multimedia.
