National University in Sohar invites applications for an Assistant Clinical Skills Lab Supervisor within the Simulation and Clinical Skills Laboratory.

The role supports maintenance, training courses for students and teachers at Sohar and Rustaq campuses, and short courses for the community. English proficiency is a must.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing with a minimum of 5 years of post‑master or related health sciences experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing science with 15 years of bedside experience.
• 3–5 years of simulation, skills lab, or related educational technology experience preferred.
• 5–10 years of medical or nursing education and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Clinical Skills Lab Supervisor in the proper maintenance of the Clinical Skills Lab facility, equipment, and materials.
• Assist the Clinical Skills Lab Supervisor in conducting training courses for students and teachers at Sohar and Rustaq campuses.
• Assist the Clinical Skills Lab Supervisor in conducting short courses for the community.
• Assist with training sessions and lab usage.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, attendance, and equipment usage.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in nursing with a minimum of 5 years of post‑master or other related health sciences experience
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing science with 15 years of bedside experience

Experience

• 3–5 years of simulation, skills lab, or related educational technology (preferable)
• 5–10 years of medical or nursing education and training

Language Requirement

Proficiency in English is a must.
