Job summary

Al Toobi New Enterprises is seeking an Accountant - Fixed Assets & Accounts Payable to maintain assets and payables records. You will manage invoices, reconcile payables, and support month-end closes and VAT compliance across multiple locations in the F&B and retail sectors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance with at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in ERP systems, and strong analytical skills. Collaboration with finance teams and auditors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and computerized accounting software.
• Exposure to VAT filing and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoicing and payment processing.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register, depreciation, and asset movements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, VAT compliance, and audits.
• Coordinate with ERP system admins on system issues and improvements.
• Prepare supplier payment schedules and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and VAT regulations.
• Assist with financial reporting and KPI analyses.
