Job summary

Tanqeeb in Oman seeks an experienced aircraft maintenance engineer to ensure airworthiness, reliability, and safety of aircraft systems. You will assess regulatory requirements, support maintenance and overhaul programs, and collaborate with manufacturers, service providers, and internal stakeholders.

The role focuses on continuous improvement of maintenance practices and service quality while ensuring regulatory compliance and fleet availability.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent in mechanical/ aerononautical/ electrical engineering.
3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
Strong experience with aircraft inspection, repair and modification.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with other departments on Technical Projects to meet high technical standards.
Review ADs, SBs, modifications and maintenance programs for assigned aircraft systems.
Maintain a database of information/history for each aircraft and its systems/components.
Ensure compliance with rules, policies, procedures and HSE policies.
Prepare proposals, statements of work, and cost estimates; support Manager Technical Services.
Oversee maintenance, inspection and modification of aircraft systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, landing gear, fuel, air conditioning, flight controls, water/waste).
Develop and implement maintenance programs ensuring safety regulations and airworthiness.
Provide engineering support for system malfunctions and overhaul programs.
Lead investigations into system issues and ensure timely resolution.
