Farmers Trading Company Ltd in New Zealand is seeking a Beauty Counter Manager to lead our Yves Saint Laurent counter on a fixed-term basis covering parental leave until December 2026. You will drive sales, mentor a team, and implement promotional initiatives to grow counter performance.

Ideal candidate has retail or beauty industry experience, makeup artistry skills, and strong communication. A certificate or diploma in makeup artistry is preferred; experience leading a small team is

• Proven experience working within the Retail and/or Beauty industry and achieving sales targets.
• A passion for all things Beauty, and helping customers feel great about themselves.
• Strong technical competency in makeup artistry, ideally a certificate or diploma in makeup artistry.
• Great time management, problem solving and communication skills.
• Experience managing a small team would be an advantage.

This is a fixed-term full-time position covering Parental leave until December 2026. The successful candidate will work the following roster:

• Tuesday: 10:15am - 6:15pm
• Thursday: 9am - 5pm
• Friday: 10am - 6pm
• Saturday: 10:15am - 6:15pm

The Role:

You will be a natural born leader who works well in a team and can lead by example, share their knowledge and skills, be open to implementing new business ideas and above all want to grow your counter and business to its full potential. You will also:

• Manage targets and sales figures

About You:
