Hamilton Waikato Concrete and Earthworks Ltd is seeking a General Hand / Labourer in Hamilton to support landscaping and concrete projects. The role involves digging and site preparation, loading and unloading, brick and block work, and operating machinery when trained.

Training is provided and there is potential for skill development and progression. We are looking for a reliable, punctual team player who can work 40 hours per week with occasional extra hours.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual, able to work as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
• Physically capable of performing manual duties.
• Previous experience in landscaping, construction, concrete work or general labouring is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

Job Description

Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience and skills

About the Role We are a small landscaping and concrete company looking for a reliable and hardworking General Hand / Labourer to join our team.

• Digging and site preparation
• Preparing land for landscaping and concrete work
• Brick and block work
• Loading, unloading and heavy lifting
• Assisting with landscaping and concrete projects
• Operating machinery such as diggers and excavators, where required and appropriately trained

Training can be provided for the right person. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to receive training across different areas of the business, with potential for further skills development and job progression.
