Hamilton Waikato Concrete and Earthworks Ltd is looking for a reliable General Hand / Labourer to join our team in Hamilton. The role involves digging, site preparation, land shaping for landscaping and concrete work, brick and block work, loading and light machinery operation.

Training is provided, with opportunities to learn across the business and progress. You will typically work 40 hours per week with additional hours as required, be punctual and collaborative, and follow health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, construction, concrete work or general labouring preferred.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Physically capable of manual labour and lifting.
• 40 hours per week with potential for extra hours.

Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience and skills

About the Role We are a small landscaping and concrete company looking for a reliable and hardworking General Hand / Labourer to join our team.

The role involves a range of general labouring duties, including:

• Digging and site preparation
• Preparing land for landscaping and concrete work
• Brick and block work
• Loading, unloading and heavy lifting
• Assisting with landscaping and concrete projects
• Operating machinery such as diggers and excavators, where required and appropriately trained

Training can be provided for the right person. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to receive training across different areas of the business, with potential for further skills development and job progression.
