Hamilton Waikato Concrete and Earthworks Ltd is seeking a General Hand / Labourer to perform a range of labouring tasks on landscaping and concrete projects. The role offers training opportunities and progression as you gain experience in different areas of the business.

You will contribute to digging, land prep, brickwork, loading/unloading, and operating machinery with proper training. A reliable, proactive, and safety-minded attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 40 hours per week with additional hours as required.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Physically capable of performing manual duties.
• Experience in landscaping, construction, concrete work or general labouring preferred.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.

Job Description

Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience and skills

About the Role

We are a small landscaping and concrete company looking for a reliable and hardworking General Hand / Labourer to join our team.

The role involves a range of general labouring duties, including:

• Digging and site preparation
• Preparing land for landscaping and concrete work
• Brick and block work
• Loading, unloading and heavy lifting
• Assisting with landscaping and concrete projects
• Operating machinery such as diggers and excavators, where required and appropriately trained

Training can be provided for the right person. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to receive training across different areas of the business, with potential for further skills development and job progression.
