Pukenui School is a full primary (Years 1–8) located on the Te Aupōuri Peninsula in the Far North of New Zealand. We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 and 4 teacher to join our collaborative team.

We value Structured Literacy approaches, familiarity with Te Mātaiaho, and a positive, inclusive classroom that supports young learners. You will work alongside a supportive team and actively involve whānau in learning.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Structured Literacy approaches.
• Familiarity with the refreshed NZ Curriculum Te Mātaiaho.
• Registered with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
• Preferably lives in New Zealand.

About the role

Pukenui School is a full primary school (Years 1-8) located on the Te Aupōuri Peninsula in the Far North of New Zealand. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and collaborative Year 3 and 4 teacher to join our team.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• has experience with, or a strong understanding of, Structured Literacy approaches
• demonstrates a growing familiarity with the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum (Te Mātaiaho)
• is passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment where young learners thrive
• works collaboratively alongside a supportive, friendly team
• values strong school-community partnerships and actively involves whānau in learning.
