The successful candidate will bring recent Year 1 teaching experience, knowledge of collaborative learning spaces and restorative conversations, and a strong commitment to culturally responsive practices

Qualifications

• Recent and proven Year 1 teaching experience.
• Experience with collaborative learning spaces and school-wide approaches.
• Restorative conversations with students.
• Knowledge of culturally responsive and relationship-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction across Year 1 learning areas.
• Support collaborative learning and restorative practices in the classroom.
• Engage with the curriculum areas including English, Health and PE, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social sciences, Te reo Māori, Technology and The arts.
