Paparoa School invites applicants for a Certificated teacher to join our small, supportive rural school team in 2027. The role focuses on years 1–8 with a broad range of subjects and a strong emphasis on building relationships with tamariki and whānau.

Qualifications

• Has experience and confidence teaching in a multilevel classroom.
• Builds strong relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues.
• Strong literacy practice, with Structured Literacy knowledge an advantage.
• Can identify learner needs and plan purposeful programmes that support progress.
• Flexible, collaborative and willing to contribute to all aspects of life in a small rural school.
• Brings initiative, enthusiasm and a sense of fun to learning.
