Jora New Zealand in Rolleston is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy Frame & Truss Manufacturing team. You will safely move timber and finished products around the yard, support production and dispatch, and work with long loads requiring confident forklift operation.

Key responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, keeping the yard tidy, and contributing to dispatch operations. This role offers a practical path to learn fabrication tasks within the business and requires

Qualifications

• Current OSH Forklift Licence (F endorsement advantageous).
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Ability to handle long/awkward loads safely.
• Background in manufacturing, timber or frame & truss environments.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in manufacturing, timber, frame & truss, or a similar environment is highly regarded
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment

• $26.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday | 6:30am - 5:00pm (while busy)
