Job summary

PlaceMakers Christchurch is hiring for a full-time Yard/Drive Thru role in Hawke's Bay. You will assist customers, load and unload products, process orders, and pick items for delivery. You’ll help maintain stock accuracy and a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

The role requires a class 1 driver licence (Forklift licence preferred) and a teamwork mindset. We value reliability, attention to detail, and good numeracy and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Full clean class 1 driver licence and forklift licence preferred.
• Trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience.
• Physically fit with solid health and safety values.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Great attention to detail and be organised.
• Computer and numeracy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers within our timber yard and Drive Thru department.
• Loading goods onto customer vehicles.
• Processing customer orders and transactions.
• Picking orders for delivery when needed.
• Monitoring inventory and conducting cycle counts.
• Assisting to maintain an efficient warehouse.
• Operating a Forklift.
