Hynds Limited in New Zealand’s Waikato region is seeking an experienced Workshop Fitter & Welder for their Pokeno team. You will design, build, repair, and improve moulds, tooling, and equipment to support manufacturing operations.

From fabricating new moulds to equipment repairs, you will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance. You will read drawings, work with teams to develop practical engineering solutions, and take projects from concept through fabrication to implementation,

Qualifications

• Certified Welder qualification is required.
• At least 2 years welding and fabrication experience.
• Strong Arc, MIG, TIG, and stainless-steel welding capability; ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

• Welding and fabrication using Arc, MIG, and TIG processes.
• Fabricating, repairing, and maintaining moulds, tooling, and production equipment.
• Operating workshop machinery such as lathes, mills, presses and other engineering equipment.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and supporting preventative maintenance.
