The Ministry of Social Development is seeking a full-time Work Broker in the Wellington Region, NZ. You will identify vacancies, match job seekers to roles, and provide resume and interview preparation to help clients move into sustainable employment.

Join a people-centred organisation focused on wellbeing and independence, working with diverse communities and employers across Wellington, Hutt, and Porirua regions. A proactive, data‑driven approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Identify and find the right employment opportunities / vacancies for our candidates – across the Wellington region.
• Experience in matching candidates to jobs through skills-based matching, experience alignment, or broader life knowledge that might match vacancies.
• Deliver candidate management engagement by having conversations that support resumes, interviews, and confidence-building.
