Job summary

Global Wave Group in Albany, Auckland is seeking a WordPress Administrator to maintain and configure the company websites built on WordPress, ensuring content accuracy, page load speed, security, and alignment with marketing campaigns.

You will manage themes, plugins, backups, and analytics scripts, collaborating with marketing, design, and development teams to keep the site stable, user-friendly, and on brand.

Qualifications

• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience managing WordPress websites (corporate or marketing sites preferred).
• Solid understanding of WordPress basics (themes, plugins, widgets, menus, builders).
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge; able to make simple layout or style adjustments.
• Familiarity with hosting, domains, DNS settings an advantage; GA experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage WordPress admin dashboard: pages, posts, menus, media, users.
• Publish, update, and organize content with marketing and content teams.
• Manage themes and plugins; install, configure, troubleshoot, update.
• Coordinate with developers or vendors for advanced changes or bug fixes.
• Monitor site performance and coordinate with hosting/providers to resolve issues.
• Backups and basic security practices; update plugins and enforce security policies.
• Set up and maintain tracking codes and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Support landing pages for marketing campaigns; align with brand guidelines.
