Job summary

Global Wave Group is seeking a WordPress Developer to join an office-based team in Albany, Auckland. You will build and maintain WordPress sites, implement responsive pages from UI/UX designs, and enhance performance and SEO.

The role requires 3+ years in WordPress or front-end development, a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/SE, strong PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery skills, plus experience with WordPress themes/plugins. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress or Front-End development.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong PHP programming skills.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress themes, plugins, hooks, and filters.
• Understanding of SEO-friendly site structure.
• Professional English (written & verbal), Conversational Mandarin is a plus.
