Job summary

Postie is seeking an experienced Merchandise Planner to lead sales, stock and margin planning for our Womenswear range across stores and online in Auckland.

The role sits in a high-performing Planning team, partnering with Buying, Supply Chain, Retail and eCommerce to optimise stock flow and trading outcomes. This is a full-time fixed-term parental leave cover contract for 12+ months, located centrally in Auckland with good public transport access.

Qualifications

• Proven retail planning experience focusing on sales, stock, margin and inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into commercial actions.
• Experience collaborating across Buying, Supply Chain, Retail and eCommerce to drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales, stock and margin plans, including budgeting, forecasting and Open to Buy (OTB).
• Monitor OTB by department and product group, identify risks and opportunities and track performance.
• Analyze sales, stock and product performance to drive productivity and margins.
• Partner with Buying to build assortments, line plans and purchase plans meeting customer demand.
