Halter is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our wireless network engineering team—the group that runs one of the world's largest private IoT networks, with over a million devices across New Zealand, Australia, the US and Canada, spanning LoRa, cellular, and satellite.

You'll shape network architecture, influence spectrum strategy, review tower fleet automation, and support a hands-on culture where engineers grow.

Qualifications

• Led engineers directly with performance feedback and hiring.
• Strong wireless networking fundamentals including spectrum and link budgets.
• Hands-on experience with LoRa/LoRaWAN, cellular, or similar tech at scale.
• Familiar with platform infrastructure and fleet automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a wireless network engineering team and mentor engineers.
• Own network direction: architecture, reliability, and scalability.
• Stay close to technical details: spectrum, tower infrastructure, automation.
• Own reliability outcomes: uptime, incident response, on-call practices.
• Drive deployment and coverage strategy as regions grow.
