Te Waipuna Health, the General Practice arm of Te Oranganui in Whanganui, NZ, seeks a General Practitioner to provide whānau-centred primary care. Flexible FTE options are available, with full-time and part-time opportunities.

You will work within a kaupapa Māori framework to promote health equity and collaborate with nurses, kaiāwhina, and diverse teams to improve community wellbeing. You will be registered as a GP or working towards registration, and you will actively engage in karakia,

Qualifications

• Must hold, or be working towards, vocational registration as a General Practitioner.
• Commitment to high-quality, equitable healthcare outcomes.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with patients and whānau.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and whānau.
• Work within a kaupapa Māori model of care that supports health equity.
• Collaborate with nurses, kaiāwhina and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to preventative, community-focused and wellbeing initiatives.
