Job summary

Redpath Partners in Wellington seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to become the first permanent team member based in Wellington, taking ownership of projects and client relationships to establish and grow the local presence.

You will manage procurement, tendering, contract administration and commercial advisory across a diverse Wellington workload, including residential, hotels, and commercial developments, with mentoring support from senior directors as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.
• 7–10 years' experience in NZ QS consultancy or similar.
• Ability to autonomously lead and manage projects.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with procurement, tendering, contract administration and commercial advisory.
• Experience preparing Bank Funding Reports in NZ (advantageous).
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand and hold a NZ driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Own projects and client relationships, delivering trusted commercial advice.
• Support procurement, tendering, contract admin, cost movements and risk.
• Prepare Bank Funding Reports for NZ projects.
• Mentor junior staff as Wellington operation grows.
• Collaborate with directors and technical staff across the business.
