APM in Wellington is seeking an Employment Consultant to build strong ties with local employers and support jobseekers toward sustainable employment. You will source vacancies, promote candidates, and place people into roles that match their skills and goals.

With experience in employment services or related fields, you will manage an assigned caseload, develop tailored employment plans, and connect clients with training providers to improve employability. Applications close 11 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in employment services, recruitment, sales or related fields.
• Proven ability to build networks with local employers to create opportunities.
• Track record of meeting targets and KPIs.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain relationships with employers and stakeholders to create employment opportunities.
• Source vacancies, promote candidates, and match to suitable roles.
• Manage a caseload of jobseekers referred through Work and Income with coaching and support.
• Develop individual employment plans focused on rapid placement into work.
• Identify training opportunities and connect jobseekers with providers.
• Monitor outcomes and report on targets and service delivery.
