Job summary

Kirimana is seeking experienced Welders to work on commercial construction, mechanical, plumbing and industrial projects across Auckland, Waikato and Wellington. The role involves pipe fabrication, welding and installation with exposure to ASME Section IX requirements and related mechanical pipework.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of welding or fabrication experience, with relevant welding qualifications and current tickets.

Qualifications

• 3 years' relevant welding or fabrication experience.
• Relevant welding qualifications, certifications and current welding tickets are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Weld pipework, steel and mechanical components using TIG, MIG, MMA/Stick or other processes.
• Fabricate, fit, assemble and weld piping systems, steelwork and components.
• Read and interpret fabrication and piping drawings, specifications and measurements.
• Measure, cut, prepare, bevel, fit and position materials prior to welding.
