Job summary

Monarch Sheetmetals is a family-owned business in Auckland, specialising in punching, laser cutting, bending, rolling and welding of sheet metal products. We are expanding our experienced team and seeking a fabricator/welder to join the shop floor.

The role focuses on MIG and TIG welding (Aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel) and metal finishing, requiring 2+ years fabrication experience. The successful candidate will take pride in quality, be punctual, reliable and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Fabrication experience of 2+ years.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Punctual and reliable, must meet quoted times.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and positive work ethic.
• Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
• Welding tickets are not essential.

Responsibilities

The Role

• Mig and Tig welding (Aluminium, SS and mild steel)
• Metal Finishing

About you

• Fabrication exp required (2+ years)
• Attention to detail and must take pride in their work
• Punctual and Reliability is a must!!
• Able to work to quoted times and quality levels
• Self motivated, willing to learn, a “can do attitude” with a positive work ethic
• Current Forklift licence anadvantage but not essential
• Welding tickets not essential
