Job summary

Te Aroha Consulting is hiring four full-time Welders for roles in Auckland and Wellington. Candidates should have welding skills and a level 4 qualification or two years of relevant experience, and be flexible for early-morning or late-night shifts.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, operating machines, fitting parts, and assisting with as-built drawings while upholding QA standards. Pay ranges from 28 to 35 NZD per hour, with 30–60 hours weekly and right to work in New Zealand required.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience OR a level 4 or above relevant qualification.
• Must be flexible to work early-morning and late-night shifts.
• Good welding skills, including an understanding of different welding processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and specifications to select materials and processes.
• Operate machines to process and produce metal stock; adhere to requirements.
• Assist with as-built drawings and measurements; set up welding machines.
• Cut, fit, verify dimensions; ensure proper fit of parts on machines.
• Maintain quality assurance practices and approval procedures.
