Job summary

NZ Safety Blackwoods in East Tamaki is hiring a Trade Sales Assistant for a Saturday-only shift, 8:30am–2:30pm. The role mixes store duties, stock handling and light computer work with a focus on helping customers, building relationships and delivering great service.

Ideal candidates will have retail or trade sales experience, be sales-driven and thrive in a team environment with a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or trade sales.
• Sales-driven with targets to exceed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Computer skills including POS and email.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of call for customers entering the store.
• Identify needs and present product solutions across range.
• Provide world class customer service to grow sales and loyalty.
• Assist with store presentation and visuals.
• Maintain stock levels and rotate inventory.
• Handle packing, dispatching and inbound/outbound goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory within the store.
