Job summary

Radius Care is seeking a Part Time Kitchen Assistant (Weekends) at our Ohaupo location in Waikato, NZ. You will assist the kitchen team with meal service and ensure nutritious, well-presented meals for residents, while maintaining hygiene and safe handling of equipment.

Typical duties include dishwashing, general kitchen tasks, and adherence to infection control standards. Training and development opportunities are offered, with weekend shift allowances where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food service is preferred but not required.
• Organisational skills.
• Personable and reliable with a positive attitude and excellent people skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring utensils and equipment are clean, and stored safely and correctly
• General kitchen duties, including dishwashing
• Maintaining infection control principles
• Handling, labelling, and storing chemicals correctly
