Job summary

Metlifecare in Beachlands, East Auckland, is seeking a part-time weekend Duty Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract to 25 April 2027. The role provides reception support for residents, families and visitors and serves as a First Responder across the village, working sole charge on Saturdays and Sundays 3pm to 11pm.

You will handle first aid when required, deliver customer service, keep common areas clean, cover reception and provide admin support.

Qualifications

• Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain it).
• Excellent written and oral English skills.
• Physical fitness for cleaning and mobility.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• 1st responder for any emergency requirements.
• Providing customer service to residents and visitors.
• Keeping common areas clean and tidy; mopping, vacuuming, setup and cleanup for functions.
• Cover reception desk and provide general admin support to the village.
